Yehey! School is over and Sembreak is officially in the air! But I have to review for the board! Well there's more time left and before reviewing to the board, let me share with you my experience about a Takshing ElectroTherapy Massage! I have availed of this promo for only 90 points via sample room! And yes it is free!
It was a friday afternoon and I am very excited to avail this! Too much excitement, I went there 9 am and they are still closed, haha! Good thing Greenhills is very near and I decided to stroll in there. Sorry but I have no pictures about my adventure there! Don't worry when I have time I'll try to go there and post it here on the blog! :)
Anyway, back to Takshing, it was 11:00 am when I went back there and I was greeted by the reception girl. I was asked first to fill up a Client form. Then I was asked to what part of the body will be the main focus! I answered the lower back because I feel a little pain kaka-upo at kakatayo! :P
Their official logo! Parang logo ng Chapel! But it's not! :)
I was asked to soak my feet! They provide slippers too! :)
Soaking my feet will ensure that my feet is clean before application of the node. Then after that I was led to their spa bed. There was a robe, towel, and the materials that are needed for the application of the node!
Just like a VIP! :)
After I change my clothes into the robe provided, the therapist attached the node to my foot. It was wrapped in a bandage like cloth then she applied a massage cream on my foot! You may choose what massage cream do you like, Cucumber, Mint or Lavender. I chose lavender. I was startled a little but after that I felt relieved (somehow only!) :P It was actually a whole body massage but the focused is in the lower back!
My Verdict:
The experience was something unique for me and I like it! But I still prefer the traditional massage because it does not have the electricity flow. I honestly didn't like the tingling sensation that goes on my hands and feet. After my massage I had a hard time walking because of the tingling sensation on one foot (the foot where they attached the node.) Second is it is very pricey. Php1000 for an hour of massage. I would still go to Princess Hazel salon for a massage that is only Php420! But the service is really good! My therapist is attentive to my needs about the electric flow, the pressure and serves me a cup of tea after the massage1 Thumbs up to her! :) I would still recommend this if you love relaxation that goes with the electric flow! :)
That's it! Thanks for reading! :)
